Ferret always amazes, I have always been impressed by how Ferret plays. The
thing will beat you no matter what hardware it runs on be it a multi cpu machine
or a Ppro 200. This is a trademark of a good program, and is why Ferret is one
of my picks.

I think to old adage to many cooks makes a poor meal applys to chess
programmers. There are many advantages writing the program alone. I think most
of the top programs have only one programmer writing the chess engine. Fritz,
Hiarcs, M-chess, Ferret, Chess genius, Rebel, Chess Master Etc.
