Chess programs use these cards as 2D cards, That is, they don't take advantage of the 3D acceleration. My concern was that there would be some incompatibility due to the large amount of RAM on the cards (up to 32MB). I read that Fritz had problems in the past with fast cards with lots of RAM. The problem is supposed to be fixed. I just want to make sure. Len
