Also, the 5 piece endings should be accesed in the same way.So Jim says that the default is going to access the Tablebases from our disc and if we dont have the CD installed when we play a game, then it wont be able to access these Ending Tablebases! PS. I checked it out when i went in to Create the Tablebases and it shows the directory file going to the D drive to acess the tablebases, so that proves to me that it will then access the Ending tablebases from the CD. Jim stated that if you install them on your Harddrive, then you need to change this to the New Path for it to access the tablebases. You would probaly install them on your C Drive if there is room. Now the Only Advantage i can think of why you would go to the Great expense of installing all those 5 piece Ending Tablebases is to access Faster from your Harddrive which would definitly be alot Faster than from the Disc!! And maybe if Hiarcs is short on time during the course of a game, it would not be able to Solve the Position in time! Maybe someone here can shed some light on this!! Please keep in touch and let me know how you are making out. Also, If you want to email me about that would be fine. The email listed here is an old one, so i`ll give you my new one: acebrew@early.com Best Regards, Terry Ripple
