I do it all the time, with notepad and CB light:

start in CBl the option ->new game/match (works with Ctrl+n), then activate the
empti notation window with left mouse button and do Ctrl + v to insert the
notation. wait....

yes, it is still working. I just tested it in that moment.
I have the version CBl 6.01, how about you???
