I have not, to my knowledge unless the program is performing tricks here, I repeat, I have not copied the endgame piece set anywhere, and I have not created any files - all I've done is install the program 7.32. Now, when Hiarcs starts up, it says "Initializing Tablebases". How is what you say possible when I have not done what you say I need to do in order for this to occur??? Are you certain that "Initializing Tablebases" doesn't just mean that it's available for use if the endgame is stored or the CD is in? Mel > >Andreas
