Cilkchess performed better than Junior. This is how the Swiss tournament works. When you lose an early round you then play lower ranked opponents until the end nears. Chess Tiger lost the first two games & thus got to play 29,22,14,19,8. Look at the opponents of Hiarcs who played higher opponents than anyone, 9,17(MChess),2,5,1,3,4. Again, this is what happens in a Swiss Tournament. A seven round tournament for 30 opponents is more practical than a round robin, but will depend on luck in the final results. Cilkchess scored more than Junior by beating Hiarcs in the final round. If Junior had beaten Hiarcs in round 4 then Cilkchess may not have met Hiarcs at all. Please, no sour grapes. Tina Long
