Also congratulations to Stefan and Bruce from my side! It was great chess and
great show.


Shredder's strength in endgames and his resistance in difficult positions
reminds me of Capablanca (remember the famous book "Capablanca's lost games").

In the tournament hall around move 35 to 38 of the playoff only one guy was
firmly convinced that Shredder would not loose: Carsten Bauermeister. He had
operated Shredder in several German tournaments, and he said:

Shredder is only one pawn down, and the endgame is still to come. So Shredder
should make a draw.
