I think it would be cool if Ferret becomes a ChessBase engine, with its own custom book by Bruce Moreland (or by whoever, tuned for Ferret). There's no reason that Ferret can't retain its own gui, or be incorporated into other systems (like Milenium Chess Genius). If it makes the program available to us, and the price is good (and that's what having these same gui's for different programs is all about, right?), then I'm all for it. Also with an older computer, it makes sence for how much disk space I have left too:) mrslug - the chess software addict!
