If two players who are even in chess skill play a match with one always white, the 'white' player would be just under 100 points higher rated officially, even though in skill they are equal! I wonder what the odds are that the computers would win >=50% of the games... I'll bet that it is greater than 35%, which means that the GMs could still be 100 points higher than the comptuers and one third of the time have a result like this! James
