It`s my understanding that the default setting to access the tablebases is your D drive and i checked this out in the program and it`s true. This default setting is in windows and so when the position arises it will automatically Access the endgame tablebases because the default setting Path is to your D drive.If you install the tablebases to your harddrive then you need to change this Path to the Drive that you installed it on. Does this make sense to you? I hope that i`am getting this point across to you ok! They sure didn`t make it easy to understand how to go about doing all of this! haha
