The best-implemented k-best mode has Shredder (version 2.0 and higer). You can
choose any value for the number k.

One nice feature in Shredders k-best mode is the following: Due to the
iterative deepening process some of the k best lines are from depth t searches
and others are from depth (t+1) searches. Shredder shows the newer results
(depth t+1) in fett black, and the older lines (depth t) only in grey.

This helps a lot in interpreting the results.
