This can happen in a 7 round tournament.
And POOR would be less points....

Why?

That is the way it goes. This was no ranking list but a championship, held as
tournament.

We may wish what we like to see, fact is that the WCCC was held in this 7 round
way. Everyone knew this before.

What everyone has to accept now is that Shredder played THAT TOURNAMENT best and
therefore, absolutely justified, became new World Champion.

What will be interesting of course is if Shredder4 will also perform well in
SSDF (if Ossi finally allows SSDF to test Shredder4; I don't believe it, because
Shredder can lose reputation) in many more than 7 games.
However, these 7 games look very promising!
