Yes it is raher impressive how goot id is with no book. I handle a copy of TCB
on ICC (handle 'topolino') and at the beginning it did play with no book
(because of an error). I did not eeven notice it for a long time! After that I
used it's book for a long time, now i use a book built converting the book of
Extreme Chess (which has an interface similar to Fritz 4, but I don't know if it
had the same opening book or a smller one).

Now it is around 2700 on Blitz, not bad if you consider that it runs on a
mediocre IDT WinChip 200 MHz.

Franz
