I remember an anoucement (before WCCC !) concerning a match with Karpov. here
the text find at www.gambitsoft.com :
Karpov vs Shredder 3

" During the Dortmund category 19 tournament Anatoly Karpov will play against
SHREDDER 3 at the Dortmund opera house on July 9, 1999, 3pm German time. The
conditions will be 40 moves in 90 minutes, and 30 minutes for the rest of the
game. We do not know if there is an internet link, but we will certainly post
the result. - 6/12/99 "

Always shredder winner James ?
