Just a quick note to thank you, Steve, for the excellent article on tablebases and the like. It indeed answered many of my questions in a clear and concise manner. Perhaps Chessbase should employ you to write a section of the Hiracs manual dealing with many of the practical problems and how to overcome them. This would be a worthy addition to the current manual, which doesn't deal with much of this at all... Once again, many thanks.
