There's nothing wrong with Winboard, it has no bugs that you are going to discover. TURN THE PONDERIN OFF!. Frank already told you that, he's said it more than once. You don't need pondering because you probably aren't THAT good a Chess player, and if you have pondering on it wil corupt any results that you may try to obtain by testing program vs program in Winboard anyhow, so just leave it turned off. Winboard just isn't that difficult to figure out Dan. Pete
