It has also always been on the "solid" side.. that is is plays conservatively as you mentioned. On a chess server it will likely draw way more games than you'd like to see... but it will lose fewer than most also... The flip side is being more aggressive, but then you end up with far more decisive games than draws. And you _hope_ that those have more wins than losses, which is not always easy. :)
