Whats that got to do with it!

I do not know who payd them but I'm sure Friedel did not write the programs!

And if CB has a economical interest in their engines winning, what difference
do's that make?

...and if he wants more great engines to run in the nice ChessBase interface,
whats wrong with that?

Perhaps we will see CSTAL as ChessBase engine one day. :-)
