Considering that each doubling of CPU only results in a 50-75 point increase in rating and the difficulties in programming a SMP system, the most bang for your buck would be derived from buying a single CPU Celeron. Unfortunately, we tend to get trapped in the "gotta have the latest and the greatest" syndrome. I've fallen for that before and plan on falling for it again ;-).
