Subject: Even more simple chess program :-)

Author: Eugene Nalimov

Date: 17:59:28 06/25/99

One of my friends sent it to me. I beleive I do not violate anybody's copyrights
when placing it here. The program is obviously more simple than TSCP - or at
least it's shorter (68 lines). Have fun!

/*
  I beleive that program is one of the winners of the
  "Obfuscated C" contents, but I am not sure.
  Compile it (e.g. cl /Ox chess.c) and run with a single
  optional argument - search depth (default is 2; I don't
  recommend it to be more than 3, as it'll thing too long).
  To enter a move specify 2 octal numbers - "from", "to"
  fields (e.g. "e2-e4" will be "64 44"). When prompting a
  move program prints 3 integers - # of searched moves and
  2 positional scores (program's and yours).

  Unfortunately, not all chess rules are supported - there
  is no en-passant capture, long castling, no draw by
  repetition, and no 50 moves rule.
