A micro is the world computer champion and not programs that were on better hardware. Shredder won Fritz and Junior that are not micros and drew twice against Ferret(not a micro). I believe that shredder had a good chances to win Ferret in the last game if the time control was 2 hours/40+2 hours/40+2 hours/40 but it failed in tactics at time trouble and missed a simple draw. Some programs that are not micros did not score more than 50% in WCCC. I think that the software is more important at tournament time control when the programs with hardware advantage may be better at blitz. Uri
