Well I was trying to stay on thread, which had been, "Fictitious Harvard Cup
1999", so I was basing things being arranged as in the past with player's &
programs that were most availble & had played in previous Harvard events. I
considered it more likely that program that had not played before would be more
likely to play in the current (fictional event if it had occurred), because of
the easy availability and strenth of the current crop) I also limitted it to the
same number of programs & humans. Of course you can imagine a Fictitious
Harvard Cup (or any other kind of Computer vs. Human tournament), any way you
want to, with what ever number of players & programs.

But based on past turnouts, though Yasser Seirawan would be a highly desirable
player in such a tournament, it would be unlikely that he would play. Notice
that he prefers much more to go to the Aegon events held in the past, (& other
tournament in Europe), than he does to tournaments on the East Coast. I noticed
this directly, at the time I lived on the West coast, & worked in Yasser's
company. I think it may have to do also with Yvette Nagel Seirawan, who also
has a lot of friends (& family), in Europe, that Yasser would/will go there more
often.

And having lived on the west coast for almost 4 years myself, I can testify to
the desire to stay in the beatiful pacific Northwest (or travel Worldly), is
very nice, especially if you (if I could have, I would have stayed), can afford
the lifestyle.
