Tania, do you have some vested interest in Hiarcs 7.32? You know the formula required for Fritz 5.32 regarding hash tables; and yet, you perform tests at 40/150 - an even longer time control requiring more megs than 40/2 - with just 44 Megs of HT for Fritz! With your processor speed and the time control you are using, Fritz would need over 200 megs for HT. I have both programs and enjoy them both. I do not know which is better, if indeed one is better, but I do feel that when testing program against program, you should allow equal parameters for what the programs need.
