Thanks again for your feedback!  FYI, I passed along your advice verbatim to the
computer salesman, and he still insists that he is correct!?  :))   Maybe it is
indeed silly nonsense.  But frankly, I don't know, and in lieu of some
benchmarks (i.e. scientific proof), I believe the question remains open.
Presumably someone has tried it and could verify things.  --JRM
