When I use free program I'm happy of it and I can just say thanks to the programmer. When I use a commercial program, I don't care if it was tested on a GHz machine with a TeraByte memory, I care about the fact it runs on the machine I have and if it is within the specifications given on the box, I do expect the program to get the most possible out of it. Said this, it makes a lot of sense to test programs even on mid level hardware (may be avaoiding ponder off modes, and related problems). So I particularly like Ed's page Rebel on your PC. regards Franz
