In another thread posted by Vincent Diepeveen here, he says I accused Bruce Moreland of selling out to Shredder during the WMCC banquet. He describes what was supposed to happen with some detail, such as I studied the final game score sheet, said something in Hebrew, then made this comment (presumably to everybody at the table in English, though he's not specific on this point), and Vincent describes how he got very angry. What Vincent says never happened. To make things clear, it's not that he's being inaccurate, or that he misunderstood something, or anything like that. It's just that this story took place entirely in Vincent's imagination. Well, alright, there's one detail that's accurate: Vincent did sit at the same table with me at the banquet. There were several other people at the table: the Ruy Lopez boys, Eugenio Castillio, Mark Lefler, and a few others. If anyone wants to find out the truth here, it should be easy enough. I have no idea why Vincent would make this up. Or why he made up this particular story and not some other. He did, however, make it up. Amir
