The problem with Hiarcs book is not only on the first move; for example, check
out the following:

Hiarcs: White: 1. e4...e5 2.Bc4...Nf6 3.Nf3...Nxe4 4.Nc3...Nxc3 5.dxc3...f6
6.Nh4...g6 7.f4...c6 8.f5...d5...9.f6... Look at this position and clearly
Black is better. Now, an even greater example where Hiarcs really plays an awful
opening in the Sicilian:

Hiarcs: Black: 1. e4...c5 2.Nf3...e6 3.d4...cxd4 4.Nxd4...Nf6 5.Nc3...Nc6
6.e5...Nd5 7.Ne4...f5 8.Nd6+...Bxd6.... And what do you think of both
positions at this point? Is this tournament level? Is it by any means
Grandmaster chess? Ha ha!!

Mel
