In my program, killers are just two of four moves that can be
played before generating non captures.  (The other two are the
pc move and the hash move).

Just scan the move list after you create it, and if a move
exist that has already been played, set some flag or set
the move to "no_move."  When that move comes up for play, just
skip it.
