Yes, Eugene, this is exactly the my setup.
   I am referring to a situation, where I know that I am not going to use the
tablebases in a particular position, but still want the path pointing to the CD,
since I have not copied the tablebases to the HD.
   What do you think of this workaround (or could you suggest another one?):
Set the path (in the *.ini file) to both the HD (first) and then the CD, and put
only one tablebase file in the HD directory?
