Sorry, my mistake above. The correct move order is:

1.e4...c5  2.Nf3...e6  3.d4...cxd4  4.Nxd4...Nf6...5.Nc3...Nc6  6.Nxc6...bxc6
7.e5...Nd5  8.Ne4...f5  9.Nd6+...Bxd6

There is another example I orginally posted along with this correct move order
with me playing Black and Hiarcs playing a lousy Bishop's opening where I have
powerful passed pawns in the center. By the way, I have a plus score in both
games.
