The more recent versions of Crafty ARE stronger than either of the above two; especially with the large opening book, and endgame tablebases. Psion is an old Richard Lang program from the mid eighties. It is NOT Genius 1. I think it is related to the old Amsterdam/Dallas programs. Peter P
