Laurence, You can do this test: Put the position from the game Kasparov-Karpov (20) Lyon Wch 1990 after the black's move Bf5. There is a mate in six in this position. Fritz 5.32 finds it at 2 sec. Rebel10b finds it at 1 sec Hiarcs 7.32 finds it at + 11 minutes. Maybe Hiarcs7.32 needs more time for some tactical positions because need to reach a determinated ply. Best Regards, Rafael
