A few years ago a friend wagered with me that Psion was stronger than Fritz (Fritz 1, which shows how long ago it was), so we ran a small tournament on two PCs, both of them 386-33s. I forget the exact time controls, but it was in the mid range, something like 30 seconds a move. I won the bet... Fritz won the tournament 5:1. My estimation is that Psion was approximately ELO 1900 playing on a 386-33. I haven't seen it play on better hardware. Mike
