They said that the program running there was "almost" Fritz 6. Its search has been optimized to gain some ten percent of speed. Then, much more positional knowledge is incorporated. So the program (measured in nps) seems to be 30% slower, but is more intelligent! So the program playing at the Frankfurt Masters was indeed Fritz 6 on a parallel machine! Frank
