The default parameter of Hiarcs7.32 is 5 I read in the hiarcs page some monthes ago about hiarcs7 that selectivity 6 or 7 is better in correspondence games but not at tournament time control. My question is what is the optimal number. If selectivity 6 or 7 is optimal at long time control then it may be possible that 4 is better at blitz by the same logic. I also want to know what is the time control that selectivity 6 starts to be better than selectivity 5 in case that 5 is not alwaysbest. Uri
