Fritz winning this tournament is a wake-up call to GM's.
Computer domination is still some way off, the humans will
have to come to grips with the fact that computer are a real
threat and have to be given respect that they were not previously
considered worthy of.
There are only a handful of near GM strength programs out
there, and it's just a matter of treating them the same as any
other GM. The humans will keep tabs on how each program can be
beaten.
When the end finally does come and the programs take over as
the top players, it's not the end of the world. Do they allow
fork lifts in weight lifting competitions?
