Subject: Second thoughts about a naive proposal

Author: Fernando Villegas

After reading messages produced by my proposal to send our games to a higher
authority for he -or them- to see them I have no other way that to say you are
right. It was a silly proposal arsing from my inveterate habitude to forget how
inmense human vanity is. Yes, all people here is willing to recognize "In
general" that they are beaten by his programs, but to show specific examples of
our miserable condition as chess players is an altoguether different thing. I
can imagine judgments of my own games: "This idiot does not a shit about
opennings"; "Fernando missed a tactical opportunity even a moron could see";
"how a guy that does not know endings could be moderator or even member of this
site". Etc. Forget it all.
Fernando
