I Play the Bishop's Opening regularly, and this is most certainly not a
variation of it. It starts out as The Bishop's, but the main response to
2... Nf6 is 3.d3. NOT Nf3. This just opens it up into some sort of free for all.
It looks like a transposition into Petrov's Defence/Italian variation. I doubt
you will find much on it in database searches, it is a very rare line , and I
would personally not want to play it. 6.Nh4 ? ugh. I hate having my knight stuck
there! And why would Black push so many pawns? His development is sad. I'd stay
away from this - just my opinion. -Derek.
