About 5 years ago, Apple switched over to the PowerPC line of processors. It previously used the 68000 series, the last of which (that they used) was the 68040 at approximately 50 mhz. There may be some system incompatibilites with OS 8.5 or 8.6 and HIARCS, but I doubt it. William wbryant@ix.netcom.com
