Subject: Is the Celeron chip good for chess programs?

I read that the Celeron chip is good for chess programs but when I looked at the
list of hardware of chess programs in WCCC
I saw pentium2 and pentium3 and did not see Celerons.

Can someone explain me what is the reason for it?
