Linux is POSIX compliant, so yes.  It is also System-V compliant, which
makes it compatible with everyone's unix that I work with..

totally _wrong_.  Crafty _started_ in the linux world, and later moved to
the windows world due to popular demand.  _all_ of my development work is
done on Linux _only_...
