I don't know the details but I have facts to tell:

on the AMD K6-3 at 600MHz kindly provided by Kryotech for the World
Championship, Chess Tiger ran exactly twice as fast as on my personal K6-2
300MHz.

So I would say that for my program the only advantage of the K6-3 is that it can
support higher clock speeds.

BTW, Rebel on K6-3 600MHz is running at the speed of a P2 at 900MHz!
