I don't think this is so.  Can you point me to some testing that would support
this?  Other than Fowell's tests with Hiarcs?

There are two ways to autoplay on the Mac.  Kossy wrote an interface called
RoboCrafty (with crafty supplied), and which programmers can communicate with
via apple events.  Has timeseal for fics, but not timestamp for icc.

The other interface is my own.  It works with a tcp comm toolbox tool, which
allows me to use CTB calls to do the i/o.

But there's really not much call for this capability.
