:-) Yes, it seems like an awful lot of work in order to be a bad sport. First
censor the person, then disable seeing kibs, then still leave the game and clock
running... You'd think it would be easier to hit the Resign button (for those
using Blitzin 2), and move on to the next game.
I was once playing blitz with a friend of mine here, and we were alternating (he
played a game, I played a game), when one opponent of mine, after winning a
piece, started raining my screen with requests for me to resign! I had actually
been planning on resigning, but I was quite irked by his attitude and decided to
play on (and let him send his requests). Sure enough, the effort of writing
"resign", "please resign now", "Why keep on playing?" two or three times a move
distracted him, and not only did the position become unclear, but he ended up
losing on time. It was too much, and I sent "No game was ever salvaged by
resigning". Well, the proliferation of abuse that started to pour in was quite
overwhelming. The fellow was apparently French (which I happen to speak) and
began sending me the oddest insults I ever saw (in French so it wasn't a
language problem). One claimed I ate my mother's excrement, another claimed I
did it with dogs and parakeets.... My friend and I almost got sick from laughing
so hard. :-)
