Subject: Branching factor in Rebel 10

I just bought the Rebel 10 to see some interesting data through this game.
It give you more data to compare (if you are programmar) that every
other game that you can find. Plays it magnificently. I was badly
defeated with exception of few draws. But what I found curious it was the
branching factor of this game. Compared with the Genius 4 and Rebel 2 it
did the miracle. This game is forced to see only around 3 or 4 nodes from
the ply that have 25 or 30. I speak about "brute force" search. It make me
wonder when I will reach this level. But do you know some other game with
so good branching factor? And finally,is that branching factor so important
for having the good game? I found that Genius 4 was not that good in this
factor (it make me feel relaxed) but represent a very strong game.

Leonid.
