Thank you; James, Pete, Harald, Frank and Jeroen. I appreciate your opinions concerning these programs. General opinion seems to suggest starting with Hiarcs 7.32 and Winboard (Free is hard to beat unless that paid for the download). Possible adding Fritz when the new version is issued later this year. I read that Hiarcs has a utility, Win 232, that allows it to play against Winboard programs. Has anyone tried this and does it work well? Again, thanks for your opinions. Best Regards, Dave
