I read that chris has a full time job not in chess programming.
It is surprising to hear that he has the time to do a big program.

What is the reason for that?
I can imagine 2 possible reasons:

1)Chris is a better programmer and used less time for correcting bugs.

2)Chris did not have the time to do tal smaller by optimization without changing
the program.
