Since I can only play one or two nights a week at the most, the 7-day trial is a bit short (IMO should be a number of trial logins, not a fixed number of consecutive days). So I signed up for a few trial periods, as the net is so full of free-mail accounts that they'll never catch them all. ;))) But I liked what I saw, lots of good games going on, and though I'm not a huge fan of blitz I'm doing better than I expected so far. :) Just signed up for a year this evening. It's worth a few bucks a month just to watch the big name players, and if you want to practice conveniently against humans it's hard to beat. It's a great training ground to improve your game for live face-to-face encounters at your local club. Seems like a class operation, I give it two thumbs up so far. When I get to a big string of losses I won't be quite as happy, but I'm in a good mood tonight. Such is the rollercoaster of emotions that is chess. ;)
