Qh7 is not easy to find on board when the clock is ticking away. Karpov did an excellent job outplaying the machine positionally. This games demonstrates that Shredder suffers the same problem which plagues other chess engines, it allowed a kingside mating attack which Karpov missed his chance to convert to a full point.
