Hi Everything I have read on the internet says that because Fritz5.32 is a 32bit application it is faster than fritz5.0, Not so within my fritz5.32. Not only does fritz5.32 score lower on the fritz mark test, but it searches fewer nodes per second. My operating system is windows 98 with 64 megs of SD ram, hash tables are set to 40mb. Does it have anything to do with the fact the my video card only allows for 256 colours? Does this somehow slow fritz down? I notice that the fritz 5.0 engine , running in fritz5.32 however seems to be running the exact same speed as in the 16bit fritz5 program. I would appreciate any answers or speculation. Thanks
